We believe that electrification is only the beginning of rural electrification.
There's so much more to be done after the power lines have been installed.
Access to electricity opens up a plethora of opportunities.
On top of electrification, we plan to provide support to the local communities that participate in our electrification programs and empower them to maintain and use the electricity to bolster the local economy. To accomplish this, we have created the MEDA (Myanmar Economic Development Association) organization that will oversee the training of the local staff in construction, maintenance, operations and management while MREF Power provides EPC services to build the groundwork and electrify the villages.
